Playing catch-up

I can’t believe my last post was in August. So much has happened. The awesome Natalie Servant has published her Manhattan Bridge pattern. So I can finally show you my test shawl:

The left-overs from my Maxima cardi were just enough for a little netbook and mouse cover:

Then, in September, I came across a pretty and free cowl pattern and had the perfect yarn in my stash for it, CashSock by Yvieknits:

I’d show you the October turn-out, but I have to take and download pictures first. Stay tuned.

I’m not super productive in this persistent heat

.. but I haven’t been utterly idle.

Color Affection is off my needles:

And I finished a super secret mini project that will be revealed in due time. Go me.

(I can’t wait to show you guys the Manhattan Bridge pictures, but since a certain designer had to go gallivanting off to Paris, that could be a while. Moi? Jalouse? Ha!)

Progress Report

I finished the Tabard shirt a while ago, but only now got around to taking pictures:

Thinking about writing up the pattern, but I still have some other designs lying around that I should deal with first. I love coming up with them – writing them down? Not so much.

I also finished test knitting Natalie’s Manhattan Bridge shawl, which I love and can’t wait to wear when fall comes around again. Pictures will have to wait until she’s published the pattern, though.
